Graphic Design
- Develop graphic design services workflow to expedite the process from production to delivery.
- Design product layouts for print such as: stationary, flyers, newsletters, brochures, posters, etc.
- Create electronic illustrations and logos, edit and enhance photos, and take photographs.
- Design advertising campaigns for internal and external marketing.
- Design product layouts for specialty items such as: lapel pins, bumper stickers, signage, credit cards, t-shirts, caps. pens, etc.
- Design layouts for the Web and develop web-ready graphics and interactive components.
- Design layouts for multimedia CD-ROMs and develop interactive components.
- Work with vendors to obtain quotes, evaluate products/materials, and provide appropriate files for production.
- Design the user interface for various online learning environments and other online systems.
Instructional Design
- Research best practices and develop a template that expedites content structuring for, and production of,
online courses.
- Storyboard courses with graphics, interactive and animated components, voice-overs, and video.
- Develop interactive and animated components for online courses.
- Design course layouts in Dreamweaver and Moodle for online "content" and "learning" management systems.
Educational Instruction
- Develop instructional content and design materials for desktop publishing, web design and game design courses for adult and
community education programs.
- Develop and deliver instructional content in technology applications for students and educational staff.
- Develop content and design step-by-step training guides for various educational systems and software.
- Create new middle school technology courses vertically aligned with high school CTE career clusters.
- Provide on-site, just-in-time, and online facilitated technology integration training to teachers, administrators
and technology trainers.
- Mentor new instructors in appropriate adult learning methodologies and best practices for technology
training delivery.
- Mentor high school students in the graphics, Web and game design career fields.
